Our Mission
Our mission is to provide a completely free athletic club, and to offer an outlet for kids to have something to do year round. Keeping them out of trouble and teaching them how to manage themselves like adults. “I want to be able to provide an outlet for kids to have an outlet other than the streets. I want to provide all the equipment and cover everything for them, and their parents to just focus on their kids being good kids and not worry about funding their kids athletic abilities. I would eventually like to have counseling for kids who need it, and have other athletic programs eventually. I want my fighters to fight as much as possible and give them the stages to fight on to get them ready for the next level. I would like to keep the Donnybrook a yearly thing along with competing against other countries. I competed in the Donnybrook two times and fought against team Italy as well. I feel that these were all big factors in me being ready for the pro stage. ~ Mike Manna. In order for us to achieve our goals, we need to raise enough money to cover the cost of the athletic club. Consider donating to our cause and keep our kids safe and off the streets.

“I’m one of 3 boys. My older and younger brother were going to NSAC. My parents were trying to get me to go. At that time I was surrounding myself with people that I thought were my friends, people that were experimenting with vaping and weed. I was getting into trouble inside and outside of school. As I was spending time with these so called “friends”, my relationships at home were bad. I was disrespectful towards my parents and I had no relationship at all with my older brother.
I got caught.
That day my mom called Coach Mike and asked if I could attend class. His exact words, “Get his ass in here”.
Six months later, I dedicate my time to training and surrounding myself with my coaches and teammates that I now call my family. These are people that build my confidence, support me, and cheer me on win or lose.
I now have a better and closer relationship with my parents and my relationship with both of my brothers has gotten better. We train together and fight together. NSAC got me on the right track and showed me what true friends and family are.
At NSAC i’m doing what winners do!”

Evan’s Testimonial
“I started boxing in 2019 at another gym. I really fell in love with it when I first sparred. For a time, my love for the sport kept rising. But, at a certain point, the environment was not one that allowed for the love I had for the sport to keep growing for me.
When that happened, my love for the sport was waning. I decided to take a break from boxing at that time. There was a point during that break, I considered quitting altogether. I decided to go back to the gym I was at, but the love I had for it didn’t come back at all. I felt I was done with boxing because I wasn’t growing anymore and there didn’t seem to be a camaraderie. I felt at my lowest point.
One day, my Dad and I were at Home Depot and we ran into Coach Jamie from NSAC. We were talking to Jamie about how I was quitting due to how I didn’t love boxing anymore.
I decided to give NSAC a try after I had a heart to heart talk with Coach Mike. During the first couple times I was there, I really saw how a boxing gym should be where everybody was friends and everyone was respected and treated each other how teammates should. I really got that sense of family that I couldn’t find anywhere else. At the same time, when I started going more frequently, I started feeling good about myself again and started to appreciate the sport because I reached new heights at NSAC.
I joined NSAC when I was at my lowest and being around all the fighters and coaches really made me into the person I am today and I couldn’t be more grateful to all of them.”
